GLOW 2021 AT RHS BRIDGEWATER
RHS Garden Bridgewater, a 156-acre garden in Salford, dating back to the reign of Queen Victoria, will be filled with dazzling light displays this winter!
Enjoy a wander around the Garden trail to experience the various trees, shrubs and lakes all lit up! Festive treats and hot drinks will be offered along the way, while the Garden Centre will be filled with perfect gifts for Christmas.

CAKE AND CLASSICAL MUSIC
On the first Monday of every month, L’Orchestra dell’Arte is bringing classical music to Southport.
The 45-minute lunchtime shows will involve different ensembles and individuals performing pieces written by world-famous composers, ranging from Gounod to Mozart.
The upcoming events fall on November 1st and December 6th.

ENJOY CHRISTMAS ON THE COAST
Blackpool’s Tower Festival Headland will become a breath-taking Christmas village from 19th November until 3rd January. The promenade will play host to a free outdoor iceskating rink, food stalls, light projection shows and simulated snowfall, all with a perfect view of the Blackpool tower!
In addition, the aptly named Winter Gardens are set to transform into a winter wonderland this December, hosting a Bavarian-style Christmas market from the 9th December to the 3rd January. Themed stalls, live entertainment and Santa’s Grotto are all part of the fun!

ALADDIN AT THE OPERA HOUSE
From Saturday 11th December to Sunday 2nd January, this comedy-filled pantomime, starring Alexandra Burke, is coming to the Manchester Opera House!

HOGHTON TOWER FARMERS MARKET
One of Lancashire’s original markets, the Hoghton Tower market in Preston welcomes farmers, growers, bakers, confectioners and craftsmen to provide a variety of locally produced food, gifts and accessories.
The final two markets for 2021 will take place on November 21st and December 19th.

MUSICAL AFTERNOON TEA
Throughout November and December, Gibbon Bridge Hotel and Restaurant will host charming afternoon tea events, accompanied by a live pianist. A selection of sandwiches, scones, cakes and drinks are on offer, with fresh ingredients provided by the 23-acres of award-winning gardens!
