Cheshire Game and Country Fair
Held at Cheshire Showground from Sunday 29th of August to Monday 30th of August, the Cheshire Game and Country Fair presents the very best in countryside activities and entertainment.
The three main arenas offer the opportunity to watch an array of events, from Scurry Racing and Horse Boarding to Falconry, Shire Horse Displays, and Chase The Bunny. Visitors can also get involved, with fishing demonstrations and lessons available from the Angling Trust and Salmon and Trout Society, as well as the opportunity to have a go at clay shooting.
The Fair hosts a range of national and local food producers, offering a variety of specialist street foods and drinks, while The Country Kitchen will host a number of cookery demonstrations throughout the day.
There’s also plenty to experience in the craft marquees, with glass-blowing demonstrations and quality country trade stands!
Held at Caldy Valley Neighbourhood Church & Community Centre on Thursday 19th August, this watercolour class allows receive expert tuition and learn everything you need to know to be able to paint with confidence.
Step by step demonstrations will teach you how to mix colours and how to paint flat, graded and variegated washes and how to create a simple painting.
The course costs £38, which includes all materials required for the day!
