The picturesque Knott End-on-Sea on the Fylde Coast offers a lovely array of old fashioned shops, quality restaurants, churches and pubs, including two bakers, a butcher, fishmonger and cheese shop.
Alternatively, the seafront at Knott End looks out across the beach with views of the spectacular Lakeland hills and a short ferry ride takes you to Fleetwood with its excellent shops, Freeport outlet shopping mall and the famous outdoor market that takes place three days a week.
The seafront and area is popular with it’s beautiful walks and trails for both cyclist and pedestrians. Buses stop just outside the park, taking you to Blackpool, Lancaster, Thornton Cleveleys, Poulton and linking you to further transport connections reaching the Lake District and the Trough of Bowland, both only a short trip away. The M6 and M55 motorway links are both a short journey away.
